Peter is Leaving

Peter Bennett is leaving Minneapolis in mid-September, and hoping to make a go of it in the UK or thereabouts.

Friends and colleagues have asked me where they can see me off. I’ve planned a week of events. This page has a schedule of activities.

Some are more geared towards friends or work-related crowds, but those groups blend in my world. I trust you can find some events that fits how I know you.

All of the details haven’t been set, so saving this page (peterispedaling.com/bye) is the best way to stay informed. Some activities will have a location or map added as it gets closer.

I don’t do much on social media, but I would recommend LinkedIn to stay in touch. My cell number is also way to reach me on WhatsApp.

  • This ride will be a faster pace, but not a road ride. We’ll cruise around some trails in the Twin Cities metro area. About 30 miles or so.

  • This ride will go around Minneapolis, with a focus on places I like and street projects I’d like to visit, and maybe chat about. Expect some stops for eating, swims, games, or drinks.

  • Rain date for the activities on Saturday.

  • My work colleagues will go on a short ride and meet at a bar. After 5pm, any planning-adjacent or transportation-curious friends are welcome to join.

  • This might be my last climb at the ropes gym that I spent a lot of time at. Let’s get a big group climbing!
